This notice covers personal information we handle through this website, and in connection with business enquiries, early commercial discussions, and the ordinary administration and security of the site. Where a job goes ahead, a separate arrangement for that job may also apply.
Information we may collect
Depending on how you get in touch, that can include your name, your company, your work email address, a telephone number if you include one, and what you tell us about the job. On the contact form that is the product, the quantity, where the goods are or where you want them sourced from, where they need to go, when, and whether you want sourcing, shipment, or both. We also keep the correspondence that follows.
Where the running and security of the website produce it, we may also hold limited technical information connected with that.
Please do not send identity documents, financial information, special-category personal information, or restricted technical information through the contact form. We do not need them to reply.
How we obtain information
We normally receive this from you. We may also receive relevant business contact or job details from your company, from a supplier or someone else involved in the shipment, from publicly available company information, or from professional advisers, where we need it for the enquiry or to meet a legal duty.
How we use personal information
We use it to receive an enquiry and reply, to understand the product and the shipment, and to set out what we would do and on what terms. We wait for a yes before we commit to a supplier or book freight.
If you ask us to go ahead, we use it to source the product or to arrange the documents, the freight, and delivery.
We also use it to keep in touch about that job, to keep ordinary business records, to look after the website, to meet legal duties, and to establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.
The form on the contact page is sent to info@eteq.uk. It is not stored on this site. We do not sell these details, and we do not add you to a mailing list because you wrote to us.
